Lovely place for a relaxed family day out. See the animals in the Indoor petting barn or a take a nice walk by the lake & woodland & see the pigs, goats , deer etc as you go round. Or you can go thectractor ride. Great play areas & bounce pillows. Cafe & toilets near main entrance.

What an amazing farm! We have been before but this time we went for the Christmas Experience and words can not describe how much of an amazing experience it was. We went with our 10 month old for his first visit to see Santa and he was mesmerised with everything. He also loves animals and could not stop laughing at the goats and sheep. We also ate in the cafe and the food was lovely the jacket potato option was very filling with it coming with a side of crisps, coleslaw and salad. Thank you for making our little ones first experience seeing Santa amazing and one that we will never forget! Could not recommend this place enough absolutely amazing!

Amazing little farm well I say little it’s quite big and a lovely long walk round Plenty of animals to feed (mind the llama) he spits and some animals greedier than others. There are rides to go on (barrel and electric cars/bike) there is also an air pillow if you’re interested but we didn’t want to take shoes off. Lovely picnic area which we used and there was pig racing later in the day. We only stayed couple of hours which was enough for us (adult and teen) but we did have a few goes on the electric bikes £1 per ride. Not laughed so much in ages. We loved the whole thing and could see a huge change since going 7 yrs previous much better and they are still working on it to make it better still

Had a trip out to monk farm with the kids. Google maps got us there fine it gave accurate directions. Our visit was pre booked online however you can pay on entry. There is plant of parking space and toilets close to the entrance. The kids loved the play areas with a bouncy pillow & sand pit. Parks are always a winner for kids 😆 here there is a petting barn which is great. Other animals around the farm include poultry, goats , pigs , donkeys , dear , emus ,wallabys etc. There is also barrel ride and train ride here. If you want to eat there there's a great little food place close to the entrance 😀 but dont forget to get ur animal feed ...the kids had a great time so it's a thumbs up from me

Absolutely adored our visit here! Animals are really cared for! A lot bigger than I expected. I went with my husband (I'm an animal nut) If we went with kids we could have easily spent the whole day here! Beautiful grounds, staff lovely, plenty to eat on offer, lovely I've cream, plenty for kids to do and adorable animals! Will 100% be back!

Staff were lovely and keen to ensure we enjoyed our day. The animals were all very clean as were their enclosures and all seemed very happy and well cared for. Love the goat area. Plenty to see and although the rain meant we didn't make use of all the facilities there was plenty to do too. Cafe was also lovely. Would recommend

We spent a full day here enjoying the Easter activities. The kids enjoyed doing the trail and making the Easter bonnets. They particularly enjoyed being able to bottle feed the lambs and going for a ride on the barrel ride (this cost extra). I'd say we probably spent more time in the play areas than with the animals because a lot of them were sleeping or not hungry (not a complaint, it happens). The play areas were great and it was a bonus to have a mini train to ride as many times as they liked. The petting area was good and it was very clear which animals you could feed any why. The kids loved being able to stroke the guinea pigs and it was reassuring to see that the guinea pigs could retreat when they'd had enough of being stroked, and also that the sessions were kept short so that they could have a rest. We ate in the cafe, which was nowhere near big enough for the amount of people visiting. The tables were so close together that it was impossible to get round because there was no space for pushchairs. It was probably a 25 minute queue to order (and we got in before the lunch rush), but once we'd ordered the food came pretty fast. There was also only one set of toilets right by the entrance, which wasn't enough for the size of the place or number of people.
